360 spin

A 360 spin is a sequence of images taken at evenly spaced angles around a product, usually 24 to 72 frames per rotation, played back in a viewer so the shopper can rotate the product by dragging. The set of frames is often called a spinset.

A single-row spin shows the product from one elevation. More rows at different elevations make a multi-row spin, often called a 3D spin. More frames give smoother rotation at the cost of capture time and file size.

How PhotoRobot uses it
